GRIMME LANDMASCHINENFABRIK

80 years ago the father of today's owner Mr. Franz Grimme developed the first potato harvesters. That was the beginning of GRIMME Landmaschinenfabrik in Damme. Over the years, the company expanded into a complete supplier for potato, beet and vegetable technology. The well-known red machines work in over 120 countries worldwide. Own sales and service agencies in Germany, Belgium, China, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, and Turkey look after the customers in these countries. 

The GRIMME machines are produced at three high modern manufacturing locations. All machines except self-propelled harvesters build in the headquarters in Damme (plant 1). In 2012 GRIMME built a new production building (plant 2) on a large area of 24 hectares, located in the industrial area 'Niedersachsenpark", about 12 km away from Damme. This is the location, where the assembly of self-propelled harvesters takes place. In China (plant 3), GRIMME develops, manufactures and produces machines for the local market-specific requirements on site with over 70 employees.
